GROWMARK and Midwest Food Bank Partner in Food Relief to Ukraine
This harvest, farmers in participating regions can make an in-kind donation of grain at Growmark member cooperative elevators, with proceeds directly benefitting Ukraine food relief efforts.
By simply requesting to sell grain on behalf of Midwest Food Bank, bushels are sold immediately and funds are sent directly to Midwest Food Bank. In partnership with humanitarian groups in Ukraine, these funds support the Tender Mercies program. Every dollar provided creates four meals, so 1 bu. of corn could provide more than 20 meals, and 1 bu. of soybeans more than 50.
Donations can be made now through Jan. 31, 2023.
