Meat Lovers Rejoice: Dunkin’ Launches Snackin’ Bacon
Dunkin’ unveiled something meat lovers can get excited about. Snackin’ Bacon with Sweet Black Pepper made its debut on Wednesday.
What’s better than a bag full of bacon? A bag full of bacon and coffee?
The new Snackin’ Bacon comes with eight half-strips of Dunkin’ “high-end bacon” wrapped in a portable sleeve for on-the-go snacking ease.
Snackin’ Bacon is first smoked with natural cherrywood. It’s then treated to a sweet and savory blend of brown sugar and black pepper seasoning, creating a delightfully caramelized bacon that Dunkin’ fans already know from its Sweet Black Pepper Bacon Breakfast Sandwich.
“With its classic flavors featured in everything from toothpaste to vodka, bacon is a phenomenon. But, at Dunkin’, we believe the best way to enjoy bacon is simple: eat it,” the company said in a release.
Because of the sweet caramelized, candied flavor profile, Dunkin’ says Snackin’ Bacon pairs perfectly with its caramel, French vanilla, and hazelnut flavor swirls.
Bringing back Dunkin’ Bowls
Dunkin’ is also bringing back the Sausage Scramble Bowl and the Egg White Bowl. The Sausage Scramble Bowl is made with scrambled eggs, sausage, melted cheddar jack cheese, peppers and onions. The Egg White Bowl is made with egg whites, spinach, roasted potatoes, cheddar cheese and caramelized onions, the release said.
