We’ll be reporting from the World Pork Expo in Des Moines, providing you with coverage of the industry’s biggest pork event of the year.

Monday:
It’s the first day of #PORKWeek! Join us for Signal to Noise and read our exclusive interview with the new celebrity spokesperson for the Pork Checkoff who will help dispel myths about pig farming on PorkBusiness.com. Meanwhile, Cheryl Day, Kylee Deniz, Glenn Muller, Don Nikodim and Jennifer Tirey discuss pork industry challenges and advice for the year ahead. AgriTalk’s Chip Flory will tackle the top issues in the hog industry and preview the show’s #PORKWeek coverage. AgDay TV will also preview the return of World Pork Expo and discuss global pork demand and producer profits with analyst Dan Basse of AgResource Co. 

Tuesday:
AgDay is going live on Facebook, and on PorkBusiness.com, find out the biggest issues in the pork industry that no one is talking about and discover the life-changing technology that five farms have implemented to improve their pork operations. Find out the results of our World Pork Expo poll and discover what you can’t miss in Des Moines.
 
Wednesday: 
PorkBusiness.com has insights from five top pork economists including Scott Brown, John Nalivka, Lee Schulz, Altin Kalo and Brett Stuart about the second half of 2021 and a preview of what’s ahead at World Pork Expo. AgriTalk’s Farmer Forum will be discussing technology with pork producers in the trenches. AgDay takes a look at how one pork producer recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic while never taking her eye off of biosecurity. Thursday: 
Our coverage of World Pork Expo continues. On AgDay, demand has been a major driver of pork prices this year. They explore if that demand can continue the rest of this year, while AgriTalk will bring on Paul Sundberg, executive director of the Swine Health Information Center to discuss swine disease in the U.S. and abroad. The Q&A series continues on PorkBusiness.com with five pork producers – Amanda Adam, Thomas Craig, Adam Krause, Rachelle Tucker, Curt Zehr – sharing their thoughts on the industry outlook.
 
Friday:
See what’s trending at the World Pork Expo on PorkBusiness.com while while AgDay has a touching story about a teenager who turned to her show pig to get through two life-changing events. PorkBusiness.com highlights veterinarians and their insights on herd health concerns ahead, and AgriTalk’s Chip Flory will discuss the short- and long-term profitability for hog producers and pork’s demand potential in the post-COVID economy.  

Saturday: 
U.S. Farm Report will end the week with a look at the state of the pork industry, and an entire show focused on pork-centric storytelling. PorkBusiness.com shines the light on five outstanding youth who are leaving their mark on the pork industry.
