Monday:
It’s the first day of #PORKWeek! Check out our first story in our special Q&A series with industry experts Justin Fix, Hyatt Frobose, Greg Krahn, Erin Limes Stickel and Jess Stevens in the PORK Daily e-newsletter. AgriTalk’s Chip Flory will catch up with Brett Kaysen of the National Pork Board during the morning show.
Tuesday:
PORK Daily kicks off Tuesday morning with economists Scott Brown, Altin Kalo, Christine McCracken, Lee Schulz and Erin Borror providing their views on the pork market in the second half of 2024. Barn Hero Summer Doty will open up about what it’s like to be on the front lines of pork production during AgriTalk.
Wednesday:
Veterinarians lead off PORK Daily with health issues producers need to keep their eyes on this year. AgriTalk will be live from World Pork Expo with Farmer Forum guests Matt Gent and Lori Stevermer, pork producers who are also holding key leadership roles right now. National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) CEO Bryan Humphreys, Christine McCracken of Rabobank, and Courtney Knupp with the National Pork Board and will also stop by the Farm Journal’s PORK booth V785 for a live chat with AgriTalk host Chip Flory. AgDay TV will feature a segment on the hog market outlook.
Thursday:
Our coverage of World Pork Expo continues on PorkBusiness.com. AgriTalk will feature the State of the Pork Industry Report panelists Brad Eckberg, Randy Kuker and Cara Haden, in addition to Harrison Furlow discussing the National Pork Board/National Pork Producers Council immersion program, economist Lee Schulz of Iowa State University and Frank Mitloehner with the UC Davis CLEAR Center. The Q&A series continues on Porkbusiness.com with pork producers Katie Brown, Debbie Craig, Wade Hendricks, Chad Herring and Tom Layne sharing their thoughts on some of the most pressing industry issues.
Friday:
