With the first-ever Farm Journal Field Days only a few weeks away, Farm Journal wanted to give you a sneak peek of what things may look like this year.

The interactive Farm Journal Field Days includes a three-day Virtual Pavilion that runs concurrent with full-dayon-farm demonstrations and programming, all free of charge. The virtual learning experience can also be viewed on-demand, allowing participants to engage in the virtual sessions when it’s convenient for them.

The on-farmsessions will be hosted Aug. 25 at Blue Diamond FarmingCompany in Jesup, Iowa, and Aug. 27 at Newcomer Farmin Bryan, Ohio. Benjamin Riensche, owner and manager of Blue Diamond Farming Company says he’s looking forward to hosting the event, giving participants a behind-the-scenes look at his state-of-the-art grain system, as well as technology that will allow for carbon sequestration. After decades of farmers getting paid on yield, he thinks there’s opportunity to expand the farming business in an environmentally-friendly way.

The Farm Journal Field Days will end with the #FarmON Benefit Concert, headlined by Grammy-nominated and ACM award-winning country artist Lee Brice, who joins a slate of top country performers in a free virtual concert. As the grand finale of Farm Journal Field Days, the concert is Farm Journal’s way of saying thank you to everyone in agriculture for keeping our nation’s food supply moving forward.
