The 2022 Minnesota Pork Congress will be held in Mankato, Minn., on Feb. 15-16, 2022. The event is scheduled to take place at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, where pork producers, allied industry, and stakeholders will convene, the Minnesota Pork Producers Association (MPPA) said in a release.

“Minnesota Pork Congress offers attendees the ability to gather at the state’s largest swine-specific tradeshow for networking and business-enhancement opportunities. In combination with the tradeshow and annual meetings, the event also hosts timely seminars and social activities designed exclusively for pig farmers and pork industry stakeholders,” MPPA said.

The event center will accommodate the trade show, Minnesota Pork Board and Minnesota Pork Producers Association annual meetings, and associated events. Previously held in Minneapolis, the location change comes following producers’ desire for the trade show and annual meetings to be held closer in proximity to their farms, the organization noted.

“In the past, many attendees and exhibitors expressed they would like to see Pork Congress moved to Mankato,” said Pam Voelkel, MPPA Director of Promotions and Events. “The past 18 months have brought a lot of change, so it seemed like the right time to make the move. We are looking forward to hosting many more farmers and farm employees due to shorter travel time.”

Registration is now open to the public. Attendees may visit hhttp://www.mnporkcongress.com/registration before January 17, 2022 for discounted registration.
