Juli says: Even through farrowing intentions are seen down from year-ago levels to reflect contraction in sow numbers, gains made in efficiencies via pigs per litter will somewhat offset the reductions to the herd. Also key will be if USDA makes any revisions to past data since drought conditions changed some producers plans since the last report.
