USDA will release its Quarterly Hogs & Pigs Report on Friday, September 28, at 2:00 p.m. CT. Heading into the report, traders look for the report to reflect a tightening supply situation via the farrowing intentions figures, which is expected to come in below year-ago levels. However, this will be offset by continued improvements in efficiencies via pigs per litter to produce a total number of Hogs & Pigs just ahead of year-ago levels.
