Do you know someone who has what it takes to be named one of the best beards in the pork industry? Or, do you have a decent-enough beard and want to be a good sport? Regardless of which category you fall in, send in those “best beard” nominations for the 2024 Farm Journal’s PORK’s Best Beards in the Pork Industry Contest.
With the holiday season approaching, there are ample opportunities to snap those photos at family dinners, parties and events! Of course, don’t forget that in past years, some of the winning beards were in their “working clothes” out in the barn.
It’s easy to nominate yourself or nominate your friends (with their permission, of course). Simply send in a photo by Dec. 15 of your beard or someone’s beard you’d like to nominate (with their approval) and include the entrant’s connection to the pork industry to jshike@farmjournal.com.
A panel of “expert” judges will evaluate the entries, complete with the best beard judging commentary you’ll find anywhere. Farm Journal’s PORK will contact entrants who make the cut and report back with the winning beards and mustaches of the pork industry.
