AgCareers.com Announces Second Annual Scholarship Opportunity
AgCareers.com announced applications are open for the second-annual Feed Your Future Scholarship.
“Launched just last year, this scholarship illustrates AgCareers.com’s continued commitment to Feeding the World with Talent by supporting education and promoting career opportunities in agriculture and food,” Bonnie Johnson, marketing and communications manager for AgCareers.com, said in a release.
The AgCareers.com #FeedYourFuture Scholarship will award $1,000 to a U.S. post-secondary student. AgCareers.com created this scholarship to financially assist a student studying agriculture or intending to pursue a career in agriculture.
To be considered for the scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in a U.S. post-secondary educational institution and have at least one semester left after 2023.
The Feed Your Future Scholarship application is open online now at AgCareers.com and closes November 30, 2023. The application requests student responses to a few brief essay questions, including, “How are you going to do your part in feeding the world with your talent?”

Niman Ranch Awards Scholarships at 25th Annual Hog Farmer Appreciation Dinner
Nearly $250,000 in scholarships were awarded at Niman Ranch’s 25th annual Hog Farmer Appreciation Dinner in Des Moines, Iowa. First held in 1999, the celebration brings together Niman Ranch farmers, customers and partners to recognize and thank the brand’s network of independent family farmers.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of scholarships and grants to Niman Ranch farm families by the Next Generation Foundation, the company said in a release. The 2023 Niman Ranch Next Generation Foundation Scholarship and Grant recipients include:
