Markets Update: Grain Mostly Higher, Livestock Mixed

December corn rose 1.25 cents to 4.32 a bushel.

Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.


Wheat for December delivery rose .25 cent to $6.8125 a bushel; December corn rose 1.25 cents to 4.32 a bushel; December oats were 2.50 cents lower at $3.2575 a bushel; while November soybeans advanced 7.75 cents to $12.79 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose .47 cent to $1.3427 a pound; November feeder cattle was .32 cent lower at $1.6675 a pound; while December lean hogs fell .60 cents to $.9135 a pound.
