Juli says: Traders will be monitoring the farrowing intentions figures especially closely when USDA releases the report. Traders expect the report to reflect some contraction in the industry given high feed costs. If USDA comes in with a percentage point drop from year-ago, it would be offset by efficiencies via a higher pig-per-litter than year-ago.
