Engler Donates $1 Million Per Year to West Texas A&M

West Texas A&M University has announced the largest gift in the university's 117 year history.

The Paul F. and Virginia J. Engler Foundation will donate at least $1 million a year for at least 80 years to the school.

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents has responded by granting naming rights to the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences.

Engler founded Cactus Feeders in 1975, which has grown into one of the nation’s largest beef and pork producers, with locations in Texas, Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Cactus Feeders employs 800 people.
