USDA shows by volume, see broiler meat was the most traded U.S. meat last year. But pork exports further contributed toward the growth in the meat trade surplus.

Pork exports in 2020 were sevenfold higher than pork imports, increasing more than 15%. That adds up to almost 1-billion pounds from a year earlier.

According to USDA data, the United States is the world’s largest producer of poultry and beef and the third-largest pork producer.
