It’s been nearly one month since a handful of twisters touched down in central Iowa, destroying buildings and crops in its paths.
Tornadoes touched down in Marshalltown, Pella and Bondurant, Iowa all on July 19.
Tornado damage at the Marshalltown JBS plant, Thursday, caused severe damage in the distribution area. Reports say the processing area is operational, but the plant remains closed until damage estimates are finalized.
AccuWeather says the greatest risk for tornadoes to occur this week is in the central part of the U.S. on Wednesday. Severe storms are likely, so make sure you’re prepared.
