Zoetis Opens Nominations for 2026 Champions of Care Caregiver Awards
Those in the pork industry recognize animal care is central to everything, and it’s the people who make the difference. This year, Zoetis is recognizing individuals who exemplify everything that is good about the pork industry through their passion and dedication. Nominations for the 2026 Caregiver Awards are now open and close March 14.
“In an industry that balances animal well-being, people and production every day, there are countless champions quietly showing up to do what’s right,” said Wes Lack, national sales director, Zoetis US Pork. “Through the Caregiver Awards, we’re proud to celebrate the individuals who make the industry better one animal at a time.”
Recognizing Those Who Care Most
The Caregiver Awards will honor exceptional caregivers across three categories:
- Caring Is Job One — These caregivers provide exceptional care to pigs at the slat-level and through all stages of development, leading to a quality food product.
- The Power of Teamwork — This category honors caregivers who inspire strong, well-trained teams to care for pigs and each other.
- Inspiring the Future — This group of caregivers leaves the ladder down for the next leader or next generation, helping to ensure the industry continues to thrive.
These awards are designed to spotlight caregivers who provide hands-on care every day; veterinarians are not eligible. An honoree from each category will be selected to attend a special Champions of Care Caregiver Awards ceremony at the 2026 World Pork Expo, Des Moines, Iowa, on June 3 and 4. To submit a nomination, visit Nominate a Champion by March 14.
