Pinion, Formerly KCoe Isom, Rebrands with a Global Approach

KCoe Isom, a ‘U.S. Top 100’ accounting firm, is rebranding as Pinion to encompass a more forward-thinking, proactive and global approach to business, the company said in a release.

“This is a deliberate and proactive move to accelerate our mission, which is to continue to make a difference in the world we live in by using robust resources to help guide, strengthen and secure the future of agriculture operations and production,” Jeff Wald, Pinion CEO said in the release. “We know, in today’s challenging food and agriculture environment, knowledge is power. Pinion is enriching global resources for our farmer, rancher and landowner customers by revolutionizing information and insights.”

Through the global reach of Pinion’s advisory services, farmers, ranchers and landowners can gain expert knowledge and assistance with their financial operations and data management, which helps them to mitigate risk and alleviate some of the many demands they have as farm business owners, the company said.

“Food and agriculture are at the root of Pinion’s creation, and remain two-thirds of our clientele today,” said Laura Sands, principal at Pinion, who leads the commodity crop sector. “With resources and services that offer solutions to growing profits, building business relationships, surviving market volatility and leaving a lasting legacy, Pinion can find a solution to any business’ need.”

Pinion’s sustainability experts provide assistance when timely farm operational decisions need to be made, from land, water and carbon markets to family business planning and preserving a long-standing legacy for generations to come, the company said.

Pinion also serves manufacturing, distribution and community organizations of all sizes with these and other offerings, including specialized tax, auditing and accounting services; consulting on legislative policies and public affairs; leadership development; strategic planning; and ag marketing, and sustainability.

Farmers National Company Partners with Climate FieldView to Digitize Farm Management

Farmers National Company has partnered with Climate FieldView, Bayer’s flagship digital farming product, to offer increased digital management for landowners and tenants working with Farmers National Company.

Farm managers at Farmers National Company now have access to digital agriculture tools provided by FieldView to complement collaboration between landowners, tenants, and management services provided by the company, according to a company release.

This partnership leverages agriculture technology to drive decision-making and uncover management opportunities between farmers and landowners, while offering another option for tenants to share required data for leases more easily, the company said.

Tenant farmers can choose to initiate a sharing connection to a Farmers National Company farm manager through the Climate FieldView platform, if desired. Farm managers within the company will be able to gain field-level insights on a variety of management areas including real-time field-level weather, satellite imagery, and data entry for field operations, the release said. Tenants interested in the collaboration should contact their Farmers National Company farm manager for more details.
