Despite rumors that McDonald's McRib sandwich was gone for good as of Nov. 20, 2022, the fast-food giant says the popular barbeque-slathered pork sandwich is returning to participating locations nationwide beginning Nov. 11.

No one knows how long this beloved pork patty sandwich will be available or which locations will participate, according to news reports.

The McRib, with its seasoned boneless pork dipped in Tangy BBQ Sauce and topped with chopped onions and pickles, has repeatedly appeared and disappeared since its debut in 1981. After leaving the menu in 1985, it has not been offered permanently since.
