Clay Zwilling Returns to National Swine Registry as New CEO
The Executive Committee of the National Swine Registry has named Clay Zwilling of Parkville, Mo., as the next chief executive officer of the National Swine Registry, leading the progressive organization and its industry programs, specifically the National Junior Swine Association.
“Clay is a logical fit for the position,” Dan Burzlaff, chairman of the National Swine Registry Executive Committee, said in a Facebook post. “Beyond his past experience with the organization, Clay’s passion for the industry, ability to identify and coach talent, and proven, visionary leadership will most certainly provide value to the organization.”
Zwilling is familiar with the role, previously serving NSR in the same position. During his tenure at NSR, he also had served as the vice president of operations.
“Returning to the organization and swine industry is not an opportunity I take lightly,” Zwilling said in the statement. “I look forward to serving the members and stakeholders of the National Swine Registry and continuing to build the success and sustainability of breeders and stakeholders of the industry.”
He brings industry experience from other organizations like Farm Credit Illinois, Walton Webcasting, and most recently Angus Media, where he served as president.
“Through innovation, collaborative efforts, and hard work, I am confident we can advance the organization and elevate the success of NSR,” he said in the statement.
Zwilling will assume his duties on Feb. 12, and will return to Indiana with his wife, Deanna, and their daughters, Allie and Emma.
