Pork Profit Tracker: Average Pork Cutout Value of $92.63, Down From $95.35 Prior Week

Pork prices lost ground last week leaving an average Pork Cutout Value of $92.63, down from $95.35 the prior week.

The negotiated Lean Carcass Value last lost ground averaging $85.11against $88.37 a week earlier leaving farrow-to-margins at $37 per head compared to $45.71 the prior week. The estimated average breakeven price for hog marketed last week was $67.82 compared to $72.99 a year ago.

Pork packer/processor margins continued under pressure averaging only $.24 per head with both reduced hog cost and pork prices.
