Farm Bill

The 2018 Farm Bill will be hammered out in a House-Senate conference committee, where lawmakers must reconcile differences between the two chambers.

The Livestock Subtitle of the bill creates a National Animal Vaccine and Veterinary Countermeasures bank, but no funds were earmarked for the vaccine bank.

Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives moved to go to conference on the 2018 Farm Bill, naming 47 representatives to serve on the conference committee with the U.S. Senate.
