Iowa Select Farms Names Chief Strategy Officer
Iowa's largest pork producer, Iowa Select Farms, has appointed Todd Neff as its new chief strategy officer, the company said in a release on March 2.
“With his deep understanding of the pork industry and track record of success, he'll be well-equipped to help guide the company's strategic direction,” Jeff Hansen, president and CEO of Iowa Select Farms said in a release.
Neff has 36 years of experience with Tyson Foods, recently serving as senior vice president of the Fresh Pork Division.
In his new role as chief strategy officer, Neff will play a key role in ensuring Iowa Select Farms remains competitive and innovative in the marketplace, the company said. Iowa Select Farms has 250,000 sows and annually produces over 1.5 billion pounds of pork. With 800 swine farms across the state, Iowa Select Farms is one of the leading economic engines to Iowa’s rural communities through employing more than 1,200 Iowans, contracting with more than 650 farmers and supporting hundreds of local businesses throughout the state, the release said.
“Todd will contribute to our mission of producing high-quality pork while meeting the evolving needs of our customers and partners,” Hansen added in the release. “We’re excited to have him join our already strong and proven leadership team.”
