Poly products pioneer Lundell Plastics announced its newest product, the EZ ROLL Gate Wheel, built to withstand the demands of daily gate usage in hog facilities. The idea for the new product came from members of the Lundell family, whose company has been developing custom plastic solutions for the agricultural and industrial industry for 42 years.
“Located in the small community of Odebolt, Iowa, Lundell Plastics’ agriculture roots run deep. From raising livestock to producing corn and soybeans across multiple operations, the family-owned company has tested the products it produces on its farms. The company’s latest innovation is a benefit to any producer,” the company said in a release.
Engineered to maintain a smooth rolling motion, gate opening and closing becomes a hassle-free task, the company says, saving producers time and effort. The EZ ROLL Gate Wheel is built from durable, long-lasting poly material. The new product is designed for livestock production and Lundell says its two-piece construction makes it easy to adapt to existing hog gates.
“This is a product that came from our own experience on the farm,” Brian Lundell says in a release. “My brother Brad and I wanted to find a way to make it easier to swing gates in livestock areas while exerting minimal effort. We’ve achieved that goal with the EZ ROLL [Gate Wheel].”
