Trade policy issues will be front-and-center at the World Meat Congress as a distinguished panel of experts exchange views on the likely future direction of the global trading system. The panel will be moderated by Ambassador Darci Vetter, former chief agricultural negotiator for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) and now Edelman's general manager of public affairs and vice chair for agriculture, food and trade.

Panelists are:

  • Jean-Marc Trarieux, who manages trade issues with North and South America for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development

Listen to Vetter's comments about the trade panel.
