World Pork Expo is a time to see new innovations in the trade show, sit in on seminars presented by experts in the industry, interact and share ideas with fellow pork producers and business associates, listen to music in a relaxing atmosphere and enjoy some delicious pork products. The 2016 World Pork Expo will take place June 8 to June 12 (with breeding stock sales on June 13) at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa.
The trade show is the largest of its kind in the pork industry. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, producers have time to visit with vendors and check out the newest products and services for the industry.

MusicFest performances start at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, on Grand Ave. at the fairgrounds. Enjoy the camaraderie, food and music at this perennially favorite event.
Of course, you'll find great food throughout the three-day event. Be sure to visit the Big Grill for delicious grilled pork burgers, in addition to food offered at the National Pork Producers' tent in front of the Varied Industries Building.
