Gage and Jimmy Kent were invited by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to the “Made in America” product showcase at the White House July 23, 2018.
The event celebrated the importance of manufacturing, economic growth and jobs for American workers with a company from each state. Kent was the only agricultural company to be featured at this year’s event, and represented the state of Iowa.
“The Kent brand has been providing research-driven, high-quality nutrition that sets industry standards for feeding America’s livestock for generations. When my grandfather started the company, he established a reputation for high-quality animal nutrition products that we continue today,” said Gage Kent, Chairman and CEO of Kent Corporation. “It is a proud moment for all of us at Kent to reflect back on 90 years of leadership in the industry, and be asked to participate in today’s White House event representing both Iowa and agriculture.”
Kent is one of the animal nutrition master brands produced by Kent Nutrition Group, a leading feed manufacturer through the Midwest and East. Kent Corporation employs nearly 2,000 people throughout 23 locations across 13 states. The company is a private, family-owned company founded in Iowa in 1927.
