CEO Martin Bijl leaving Topigs Norsvin
Topigs Norsvin announced that Martin Bijl, chief executive officer, has decided to leave Topigs Norsvin at the end of August to take on a new role in the Executive Board of Royal Barenbrug Group, a family-owned and leading international grass and forage seed company.

“It has been a tremendous honor to serve Topigs Norsvin during an interesting period of transformation and growth. I am very proud to have worked with great colleagues around the world to achieve our current position as a world-leading swine genetics company. I have every confidence that the company will accelerate even more in the years to come,” Bijl said.

A search for a new Chief Executive Officer will start in due course, according to a company release. Bijl  will continue to lead Topigs Norsvin for the next few months. After his departure at the end of August, Hans Olijslagers (CTO) and Cor van Hertrooij (CFO) will lead Topigs Norsvin until a new CEO joins the company.

Big Dutchman USA Hires VP of Supply Chain and Operations
Big Dutchman, a global leader in equipment for production of chickens and pigs, announced the addition of Scott Postma to its management team in the position of vice president of supply chain and operations.

Postma comes from Yanfeng Automotive Interiors where he worked for 19 years. He served in a variety of roles in both finance and purchasing. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and his MBA from Grand Valley State University.

Fast-changing poultry and pig industries demand high-quality, competitive solutions delivered on time, a company release said. Bringing Postma on board to lead this key area of its business is part of a broader effort to meet customer expectations.
