It doesn’t seem possible that World Pork Expo will be 30 years old when it kicks off on June 6 in Des Moines, Iowa this year, but it’s true.
“The home of all things pork and everything pig is back, and to celebrate its 30th year, it's bigger and better than ever,” says the National Pork Producers Council, which sponsors the event. “More than 20,000 producers and ag professionals attended the 2017 Expo, including approximately 1,000 international guests from 40 countries.”
It’s a great place for networking, attending news sessions to find out the latest information, and sitting in on educational sessions about everything having to do with the U.S. pork industry.
World Pork Expo is the world's largest pork-specific trade show, with more than 360,000 square feet of exhibits showcasing products, services and technologies from around the world.
“Come for the pork. Stay for the industry's best education, networking and innovation,” says NPPC.
